On May 2nd, at the Tokyo Dome, a major boxing event will take place featuring two world title matches. The main event is a 12-round unified title match in the super bantamweight division (under 55.3 kg), where unified champion Naoya Inoue will face WBA, WBC, and WBO top-ranked contender Junto Nakatani. Additionally, the WBC world bantamweight (under 53.5 kg) title match will see champion Takuma Inoue defend his title against fourth-ranked Kosei Ioka. NTT Docomo's streaming service "Lemino" announced on the 28th that it will broadcast the pre-fight press conference on April 30th at noon and the weigh-in on May 1st at noon.
A promotional campaign is also underway, where participants can photograph a special event ad truck traveling through major cities and post it on social media with the hashtag "#InoueNakataniShowdown" for a chance to win official merchandise worth 30,000 yen. On April 29th, a one-day pre-sale event for official merchandise will be held at Azabudai Hills Arena in Tokyo, featuring a large photo panel for visitors to enjoy commemorative photos. The event will run from noon to 6 PM.
Pay-per-view tickets are available for pre-sale at 6,050 yen and on the day of the event for 7,150 yen (both prices include tax). Subscribers to "Docomo MAX" and "Docomo Poikatsu MAX" can watch without additional fees and do not need to purchase PPV tickets.
The full fight card for the Tokyo Dome event includes:
- A 12-round super bantamweight unified title match featuring unified champion Naoya Inoue (Ohashi Gym, 32 wins, 27 KOs) against WBA, WBC, and WBO top-ranked Junto Nakatani (M.T Gym, 32 wins, 24 KOs).
- An 8-round super bantamweight match with former WBO world bantamweight champion Yuki Takei (Ohashi Gym, 11 wins, 9 KOs, 1 loss) against WBA world super bantamweight 15th-ranked Wang Dekang (China, 9 wins, 3 KOs, 1 loss).
- A 12-round WBC world bantamweight title match with champion Takuma Inoue (Ohashi Gym, 21 wins, 5 KOs, 2 losses) against fourth-ranked Kosei Ioka (Shisei Gym, 32 wins, 17 KOs, 4 losses, 1 draw).
- A 10-round OPBF welterweight title match with champion Sora Tanaka (Ohashi Gym, 5 wins, 5 KOs) against former OPBF and WBO Asia Pacific champion Jin Sasaki (Hachioji Nakaya Gym, 20 wins, 18 KOs, 2 losses, 1 draw).
- A 10-round featherweight match featuring Reiya Abe (KG Yamato Gym, 28 wins, 10 KOs, 4 losses, 2 draws) against Shitamachi Shun.
