On April 29, Ozeki Anseikin (22, Anjigawa), who is set to face his first kadoban at the Grand Sumo Summer Tournament starting May 10 at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan, held an open practice session at his stable in Koto Ward, Tokyo. After the session, he spoke to the press and commented on the highly anticipated boxing match between Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani. When asked about the historic bout set to take place at Tokyo Dome on May 2, he expressed his eagerness to witness it live, saying, "It's a rare event, so I hope I can see it in person." He humorously added that if he were in the audience, he would prefer not to be approached by the media. As a fan of martial arts, when asked to predict the outcome, he respectfully declined, stating, "I'm not a professional," and expressed his hope for an exciting match. During the practice, Anseikin focused on basic exercises such as shiko and suriashi, and concluded with a butsukari-geiko, indicating his recovery from a fractured left little toe that had caused him to withdraw midway through the spring tour.
